SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY As we Slt here rem1n1sc1ng about our plane tr1p around varlous parts of the world and meet1ng our old classmates of 55 we recollect just what those dear old classmates have accompl1shed for themselves Before startmg our trlp we pa1d av1s1t to Mrs Tony Wesswxck the former Els1e Baker and her fam1ly 1n Rock Sprmgs Els1e seems to l1ke be1ng a busy l1ttle h0uSeW1fC and tak1ng care of her two sons Whmle shopp1ng for odds and ends 1n Salt Lake C1ty we went to Gray son's where much to our surprlse the salesglrl was none other than Emma Esparza who, 1nc1dentally was plann1ng a June wedd1ng On our tr1p through Provo Utah we stopped 1n one of the l1brar1es where we saw Laurel Glbbs and Cherle Hennmgsen barr1caded behlnd the huge p1le of books prepar1ng an Engllsh theme for the1r class at B Y U We then traveled to U C L A 1n Los Angeles where we saw Carl Nelson as a Journallsm professor who was also act1ve 1n the newspaper and hterary flelds On our way through Cal1forn1a we stopped and V1S1ted the M G M mot1on p1cture lot where we met our dear old classmate Ramona Mc Plne She has a make up studlo of her own mak1ng up such stars as Elhzabeth Taylor Robert Wagner Barbara Stanwyck and other celeb r1t1es LOOk1Hg at the sh1ps along the bay 1n San D1ego we saw two of our classmates scrubbmg the deck of a sh1p Who can 1mag1ne George Spence and J1mmy Palcher s1ng1ng We're In the Navy Now As we traveled up towards the North Pole we paused to see a frxend of ours from the class of ' 55 It can't be But It ls' Frank Sm1th teach1ng the Esk1mos good Engl1sh Oh yes Parxs 18 wonderful We went 1nto a ballet school and whom should we see teachmg ballet? Donald Valdez has done much for the school of ballet Ah' He was so graceful and porsed On the tr1p back to the states we rested 1n New York C1ty Norma Jean Kragov1ch and Lorrame Coulter really surpr1sed us They are partners ln a large detectlve agency We then halted our travels 1n Ch1cago to see a movle where we saw Edd1e Cook He rs the owner of a cham of motmon p1cture theaters Whlle 1n Denver we saw Don Myers and Patsy Kelley Don has been dolng very well as owner of a f1sh market Pat told us that she loves bemg a chorus g1rl for the Folhes Laram1e Wyom1ng was our next stop on the way back to Rock Spr1ngs There we saw B111 Lew1s cleamng the streets Yes B111 18 really work1ng lus way through college We are now back 1n RockSpr1ngs where we f1nd Chester Tarkmgton agaln Honestly he has followed us everywhere When we asked h1m why he rephed Well 1t's l1ke th1s I'm Just out to see the world ' 51 ' ll ll ' 9 s - 1 . . . ,. . . , . , - s 9 s s - . .
