John Coyne, recipient of the Lecturer of the Year Award, co- ordinates the activities of this office in addition to his duties teaching business administra- tion. Here the underclassmen learn the rules of the college game, and they are given fifteen minutes each semester to pre- pare their schedules. For upper- classmen, the office is a source of information about tests, graduate studies, and career opportunities. Professors of the psych dept., fortified with the MMPI. also maintain offices here for those students who, for some reason or another, find that the game of college has gotten the better of them. The Admissions Task Force hustled and demon- strated interest in each freshman in the fall. Once inside the academic perimeter, though, the student was relegated to a number among numbers, and was spoken to as such.
