National Honor Society The Regina Coeli Chapter of the Na- tional Honor Society was established at Regina in October l956,when the Consti- tution was approved and the Charter was received from the National Headquarters in Washington, D. C. Membership in the National Honor Society is based on scholarship, character, leadership, and service, the requirements being explicitly stated in the Constitution. Students satisfying these requirements are inducted into the Society at the end of the junior year. Four meetings are held annually, but no particular activities are scheduled for the National Honor Society, since the mem- bers are obliged to participate actively in, at least, two established organizations. berg, Betty Punghorst. Posadas, the traditional Christmas parties ot Mexico, symbolizes the nine days' journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem, when they asked for shelter at a posada finnj each night. ' 'UL- .Y ' I , 20 Y is T students repeat Joseph's plea for shelter, until finally, one man, kinder than the rest, offers the Holy Pair a cave for shelter.
