Membership in organizations is especially helpful in
developing loyalty. Whether the organization has a religious,
cultural, physical, or social aim, the achievement and end
are similar. '
Every Reginian is encouraged to belong to, at least, one
organization or club. She may select the one which is satis-
fying for her particular interest, or which helps to develop
her personality. '
Several organizations have specific requirements for
membership, whereas, in others, membership is elective.

We lived Loyalty as Seniors
We had had so much fun and excitement
as Juniors that we wondered how the
senior year could possibly be better. Class
spirit was our driving power and we had

planning the Big-Little Sister party and WE were
the Big Sisters. We tried to make the Freshmen
feel that Regina was their school too, as we
entertained them on September 6. Below: Very
soon came the class elections and after a hard
contest Barb Schuster became our class president.
There was something to do all the time.
We had the yearbook drive for ads and patrons.
Right: We had to make plans to decorate for
the school dances. Below: Then came Advent and
our class had the ceremony of lighting the candle
which would burn before our Blessed Mother in
the main entrance for our intentions all this
yearj we put up the Crib and the Christmas tree
in the main entrance. After Christmas came
mid-year exams and the closed retreat at Friar-
hurst and-well, the rest of our story you will
find in this, our own 1958 Yearbook.
