OLD SALTS , AHOY! Shipmates stand together. It's been a long, fine trip and though it's hard to leave our home port, it is with eagerness and fortitude that we face the voyages of the future. We will long remember the Senior Mix, the Treasure Hunt with its scratches, bee stings, and sunburns and the triumphant uproar when the battered old container of the coveted scroll was discovered by Hale Paxton. Long to live in the minds of the Old Salts of 1943, will be the Banquet, the Sweater Parade with its long, twisting rib' bon of maroon and white proclaiming that B the Seniors were having one of their big BURL sM1TH ClHyS- President There was no need to consult the North Star, for at the helm has been our expert skipper, Burl Smith. Throughout the year the Senior activities have been treated with impartiality, efficiency, and have been carefully arranged. The ofhcers, Yeoman Margaret Perry, First Mate john Foy, and Paymaster Bill Gerber, have been great com' manding officers and we know that any action in which they particif pate will be short and for the good of the common Victory we are confident of winning.
