-Mm ff-ww eefzmszw THE CUB l+1L1zAnE'rn LLoYn Sure! Liz is the elocutionist, artist, and Jumping J ack of the class of '31. Her idea is. It takes a man with a mustache . Well! Well! We don't know what she wants to do after graduation, but predict a small cottage just for two . Im LLoYn This quiet, dignified senior came from Fawn Township High School. She has only been with us one year, but in spite of her quietness, she has gained many friends. Iva expects to become one of our future nurses in the York Hospital. IHALMER LU'rz Permit us to introduce Cap Lutz. He is seriously inclined toward athletics and as captain of our basketball team led it to many victories. Cap ls active in every way and a friend to everybody. As a coach of athletics we predict nothing short of Knute Rockne fame. Ross M AN morn Sure! That tall guy! Better known as Manny . The reserve basketball center. Slightly bashful, but he'll overcome that some day. Ross doesn't mind looking at women, but sure would hate owning one. Yes sir, he's a real boy. Ross wants to be an athletic coach and we believe in his ability. Enwann BIARTIN Harmonica Eddie . The cheerful English- man, who with a smile on his face, a pipe close by, plies his shoe maker trade on Main Street. He is also a clever artist as we saw some Cubs of the past. Ed has not decided what he would be, but we are sure of his cheerfulness whatever may be his lot. PAUL BICGUIGAN Meet Pat from West Broadway. A very likeable boy who seems to be everybodys' friend. And say, can he play the violin? Who knows, maybe a future Fritz Kreisler. Most of his spare time, however, seems to belong to one of his female classmates. Of course you couldn't guess who. Fzghteen

A gym- nastic instruetress is her ambition in life. ANNA XIARY K11,oonE Here is another member of the Midgets. Anna Mary, we have learned ttoo latel was an elocutionist at Lower Chaneeford High but just the same she spread a lot of sunshine here. Rumors have it that she may some day be chief dietitian of l1er household. May hap- piness be yours, Mary. BE.xTRu'n Kr.lNEYoUNo Better late than never drawls Beat . as she strolls uonehalantly to class! Beat is one of these happy-go-lucky, cheerful souls who never worries about a thing and who gets there just the same! Good luck, Beat - and remember that Gentlemen p 1' e f e r blonds ! 0'r'ro LAUCKS Tod is a member of that always popular Our Gang . He is a good fellow as his classmates knowg always there when any fun is to be had or when a joke is to be enjoyed, Tod's new philosophy is: Life's just one fool thing after another, Love's just two fool things after each other. XVILLIA yi LAUER Bill is 0119 of those vliarming young: lads who is rarely seen before he is heard. His ability as a eornetist is only one of his accolnplishnlents. His Charming personality and Winsome ways make him a favorite among his classmates. His ambition to be- come an engineer is assured if not captured by some lass before hand. HOWARD LIEPHART lc Here is Hob whose motto is Better late than never . He is always entertaining some- one, and we predict a bright future as a come- dian. Howard is. not sure if he wants to become a dentist or a doctor, but here's wish- ing you success. Seventeen

V' A M T H E C U B crrfrf smear ff f--we-1 .-XLMEDA BIILLER Ah! Who is this curly-haired brunette from Springvale? Mill tl1e giggling violinist of course. Almeda's greatest love is music, and she has been a very necessary part of our school orchestra. Music hath charms to sooth the savage beast , Ahneda, so good luck to your musical talent! RANDALL MILLER Look out! Here comes String Beans the Slim Jim furniture dealer, with inclinations toward the watch business. He and his ilivver are very popular with the girls. f'Ran hopes to be an alumnus of Lehigh in the field of engineering. Here's our good wishes. Hon.-ici: PANGLE Another small son is Hory . He probably likes arguing better than any other boy in the class. We suggest that he takes up law. Horace is fond of sports from the sidelines, especially baseball. Another budding M. D. to practice on some one. GRACE PARLETT Come on! Behold Gracious ! This viva- cious, dark-haired lassis hails from Lower Uhanceford. Grace is earesfree, friendly with a quiet, winning smile. Some day, soon we expect to see her in a little starched cap and white uniform. STUART Pom' 1 btutz is another athlete of the class, being a good basketball player. His hobby seems to be playing jokes on his classmates. His interest in a sophomore lass is more than passing. As a saxophone artist he is quite adept and as a student is very studious just before report periods. We don't know his future vocation. ROBERT QUIGLEY Bob is a studious lad, a good sport and always ready to help anyone, anywhere, any- time. He can always be found at the jewelry store on Main Street praying for more watch trouble. Roberts good nature is going to con- vince many to buy diamonds, Watches, and other trinkets. Nine iP01l
