Administration Administration sets Rl-IS goals The school board showed an interest in all activities at RHS. The seven members met at regular intervals throughout the year. Discussion at these meetings included such topics as budgeting finances, the dress code, state affairs concerning the schools and teacher-student relationships. With the school board's approval, several departments began making plans for a new semester pro- gram of studies. With the guidance of the school board, RHS upheld its high stand- ards of education. 355. E. Principals RHS principals guide students Outside of supervising high school activi- ties, Mr. Hanks, Mr. Beissenherz, and Mr. Craig helped to schedule classes, discipline students, sponsor clubs, check attendance, and solve teacher and student problems. A bachelor of science degree in education, a master's degree in education, and classes in school administration were necessary re- quirements to become a principal at RHS. With this background and experience, RHS principals brought faculty, students, and the staff closer together.
