Class Prophecy Here we find ourselves cruising over the country on a satellite. We are going at a high speed. Watch and listen carefully, and I will show you history being made in the year 2000. As we come to New York at Madison Square Garden, we see Olive Slugger Balis, the new boxing champ of the world. At N.B,C, studios, we see the broadcasting of the Hit Parade and Beth Cobb singing her recording of Jubilation T. Cornpone.The Hit Parade is followed by the pro- gram Kelly-O starring cowgirl Jeanne Morrow. Whoom! I Was that a plane, Superman? No, it's just Jackie and Lois in their Thunderbird. Following close behind is Rae Cox zooming through space in Sputnik. Who's this girl we see trudging along the way to Califomia? Oh, it's just Patty going to see Austin. There's somebody waiting for the mailman. Oh, that's just Marky still waiting on Don 's letter. Here comes the mailman now. It's Darry Fox. He always did like to play post office. There's an Italian with a piercing tan. It's Hurricane Doris just back from Florida. Here's the owner of a cute flower garden. It's Ardean, raising Tullys instead of tulips. Isn't that a siren we hear? Yes! Is there a fire, accident?! No, it's just Pat taking a drive in her Cadillac ambulance. It's real smoke apuffin'. It's a whistle we hear. It's Bill, the Lionel toot-toot engineer. But, Bill, that kind of engineer? The inventor of the really smearless lipstick and scentless perfume, Tim Mason. Comes in handy with his occupation. Right, Mrs. Mason? Jim Salser, the owner of the local pool room, flocal recreation hallj. He's giving Mr. Myers lessons. Mr. Myers spends most of his time down there anyway. Adrian McCoy, just back from Reno, divorcing his sixth wife. Who said he was bashful? Who's that Latin whiz? It couldn't be, but it is. None other than Frankie Abels. Here's Billy Bever, the furrier, he sells Bever's beaver coats. Clang, Clang, clang. Here coines Robert in his little red fire truck, all his own. He's fire chief now. Farmer Benson carrying a trophy for raising first eyeless potatoes. Jim Divers, the king of the Red Devils is now owner of the restaurant, Divers Dive. Jean Jackson, the new sensation, painted the Mona Lisa smiling. Next we see Kenneth Kelly. Oh, oh censored! ! ! There's Carolyn Gorrell building a look-out tower in the middle of the Now 5he'11 be sure to see that green car go by. Betty Duncan, seller of ear plugs for those who live in a bandleader's house. Just saw Carl Durst's picture on the wanted list--wanted by every available female, that is. Who's that with the Toni? Oh, it's Curtis. He gave himself a permanent, as if he needed it Marvin Woodard and Forrest Flinn sawing wood. Don't get the idea they're working. Just continuing their usual moming snooze. Jerry Buffington, hurdler of a track team practicing up for Halloween. I Don Calloway, owner of a car garage. His slogan is, Bring in new car, take out a wreck. Business is booming. Here comes someone with bright red hair, no it 's only Gene and his little red hat. Everyone loves Carrington, he makes tootsie rolls. 16

C ass Prophecy Jean Bigley and Satch are now raising little satchels. UD Frank Akers is now partner in his father's garage. The new sign now reads, Akers and Son. Bill McKinley is now a river detective on Waterfront. Someone stole his boat again. Jane Miller is now a metropolitan opera star singing Lullaby to all the little Nancarrow children. Who's the star of the short, short feature on at the Jur? It's Ronald Morgan. Bud Knapp just bought a new class ring. His old one wore out since it was passed around so much. Carole Kopcsak teaching a girl's class on men and their weaknesses. She says you must use military strategy to catch them. Shotguns, etc. There's Smiling Ed on his program, Toast of the Town, introducing the new Prima Donna of the New York Ballet Company, Shirley Stephens. She takes a graceful leap. Flop! Who's that crawling out of the drum in the orchestra pit? Shirley, she overdid it. Jack Brown just received the award for the person who can gripe the most. Who's that walking on air? It's just Sue. She finally caught the man of her dreams. How did you do it, Sue? Did you say you twisted his arm? Poor boy. Ronnie Proudfoot souped up his car so much that it blasted him to the moon. What did you see there, Ronnie? A wedding on the moon. Sarah Shamblin the blushing bride and Arnold Hunt the minister. Larry Williams is now the owner of Parrish Motors now named Williams Motors. He couldn be content just being an employee. Roger Weekley is dodging flying saucers. Not from outer space, his wife is throwing them. Janet and Troy Rhodes are expecting their 13th child. There goes the stork now. Here comes another stork close behind. Twins? Yes, thirteen is an unlucky number. Oh no! Here comes another stork. Whee-e-e! This stork is going to visit the Allen 's, Tammy and Ronnie. They're keeping up with the Rhodes. A Next, we visit the White House. It's Faye Safreed, the new president. Class president wasn't good enough for her. She is head of the new party, Wickacrats. Carolyn Smith now manufactures bricks. She always said, Have f??J a brick. What happened to Sandy's eye. Nothing much. She just stepped in front of Gary when he was practicing his trombone. Norma Staats is a beautician. She has a new sensational shampoo, Beck Shampoo. There's Lonnie with his pet cat. It's a beautiful black cat with a white strip down its back. What species is it? Well, smelling is believing. Who's All-American this year? It's Ronald Right Tackle Patterson. Carole Sue is -now married to someone who is All-man, Sandra couldn't be content with the name of Queen. She had to be the real thing. She is starring in the film, Sandra I, Queen of England. That completes our journey. We have defied time and space to bring you the future of the class of 1958. And who am I? I am the Spirit of Ravenswood High. Farewell until 1959, where I'll see you in the rooms and halls of Ravenswood High. 17
