Christopher, G. Sullivan, G. Bennett, Manager T. Broton. The Ravenna Bulldogs completed a successful season in 1955-56 winning 9 and losing 8. The Bulldogs placed fourth in the NCAA conference. The highlites of the season were the Bulldogs victory over Kent City and Baldwin. The Kent City game proved to be one of Ravenna's better games with the boys hitting 4270 of their shots. The Bald- win game was one of the biggest upsets in the NCAA play during the 55-56 season. The Bulldogs won 83 to 68 play- ing great ball offensively and defensively. Jim Christopher sled the Bulldogs in scoring with 264. points, Gene Sullivan with 234, George Bennett with 241. The Bulldogs lose 3 seniors, with 'I returning for the 56+5'7' squad.
