Windberg, Our powerful baseball nine snagged a title for R. H. S. when they tied Newaygo for the leadership. The Bulldogs had a very successful season winning five and los- in two. g Jim Shirey's no-hit, no-run pitching against Hesperia was the R I highlight of the season. Jim faced 23 batsmen and struck out 14. - ' -E Season Captain, Maynard Thompson, catcher, was the teams O ' leading hitter with a .435 average. A1 Meyers was a close second with . 29. Tom Boozer and Maynard Thompson lead the team in f N stolen bases. with six, and Tom led the team in scoring with ll run. Five major and three minor letter winners will return to form the 1955 squad. TRACK . The prospects for our track team in 1955 are better I yi than in t e past considering the fact that the complete QL, ,-, . squad from last year will be returning.
