A K'-' U I Captain Kenneth F. Rowell Executive Officer Captain Kenneth F. Rowell Was born Oct. S, 1920 in Derby Line, Yt. He attended Green Mountain Junior College in Poultney, Vt., for two years before entering' the Navy Ll an aviation cadet in 1941. He was commissioned an ensign in June 1942. In 1943 and 1944 he served in Fighter Sc uadron 26. Since then he has been fissienet' L, l to Attack Squadron 44, Composite Squadron 5, served as executive otticer and coinniqniding officer of Heavy Attack Squadron 7, coinnianded Heavy Attack Squadron 3, and server aboard the Palau. Ashore, Captain Rowell has attended Brown University in Providence, ll. l., has been a student at the General Line School and Survival School, and twice has been assigner the Naval War College under instruction. l l He was assigned to the Naval Air Station, Atlantic City, N.
