YWZJWZ Ymyfz iff Spring of l959 was the beginning of Randolph's gol- den year of championships. Baseball had its greatest sea- son--l7 wins, no losses, For the second year in a row Ran- dolph took the l-lockamock League Championship and participated in the Massachusetts Baseball Tournament. Highlights of the seasoni Phil Carlino's fine hitting and pitching-and 8-O record on the mound. Says Coach O'Brien, Phil is not only a good pitcher, he is the best infielder in the league. Also pitching in the no loss cate- gory: Joe Burns and Joe Zapustas with twin 4-O records. Outlook for l96O with the strength of the fifty-nine sea- son still with us? Great! Coach O'Brien has led Ran- dolph to two diamond cham- pionships in two years.
