NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY In i959 Mr. Thomas Grady, the new Di- rector of Guidance in Randolph High School, became the new advisor to the Ran- dolph National Honor Society. The chapter was renamed The Joseph W. Daley Chap- ter in loving memory of its long-term advis- or whose sudden death in the spring of l959 saddened all of us Richard Szum was elected president ot the new chapter and spoke at the first Honor Society As- sembly which cited academic honors won by Randolph students in local, state and national competitions. The national stand' ards of Character, Service, Scholarship and Leadership are carried and maintained proudly by these, our top students, Grouped around their advisor, Mr. Grady, in his office, the National Honor Society proudly displays its emblem and membership.
