CROSS COUNTRY Coach Pistone feels that Randolph can take still another championship in l96O. TRACK N Phil Carlino clears the six-foot bar for photographers . . . only practising. Track is the coming sport in Randolph. The spring of '59, Coach Pistone's first year saw RHS. take a second in the Hockamock League. This winter at the Boston Garden in the Winter State Championship Meet, Ran- dolph scored higher than any other South Ziyi 1' Shore pa-rticipant, fourth in Class C. High- lights of that meet: Dove Duffy's second in the mile with a final spurt that set the Gar- den into a roar, Phil Carlino tieing for first in the high jump and Bill Crayton's 5th place medal in the lOOO. Miss Ryan hopes that with a year's experience the l960 squad will live up to the promise of that last 6-O 'tory over Brockton.
