Afterword The annual staff and I hope that these words can apply to usg we have tried very hard to produce a book that would please you now, and come to please you more and more with each passing year. We hope we have succeeded. May the 1961 El Conquistador be for each one of you, the treasury and guardian of memories of this year long after time has retired your school days at Rancho to the past. I wish to express gratitude to all those who Worked so hard to publish a mernoriable book. To my staff, my deep appreciation for countless hours of work and worry that went into each section of the book. Each and every one of you has been Wonderful. Thanks for every- thing-especially for being patient with me.
