It is a period of maturity and growth in all aspects of life. Not only does the sophomore have to deal with his own personal challenges but he must also face the problems of adjusting to being neither the youngest nor an upperclassman. The sophomore will always survive, however. He is among the strongest people in the school. No one will ever graduate without being a sophomore. It's an academically advanced program for high school students that is housed here at Ramsay. Students from around the city attend Excellence instead of their regular high school and do in-depth study and research in their areas of interest. They are involved with community service, too, with organizations related to their field of study. Field trips, seminars, and other activities also help broaden the students' horizons and add to an unforgettable and enriching experience. Excellence students visit City Council. 134 Annual Staff Sponsor Editor Assistant Editor Secretary Business Manager Mrs. M.
