The 1970 RAM'S HORN has been designed to bring to mind many memories that each of us has shared during this great year at Ramsay. Many hours of good ideas and hard work have gone into making this book a real treasure for the years to come and the greatest annual we have ever had. Enjoy the pictures on these pages for they tell the story of 1970 at Ramsay High School. Sincerely yours. 12 Editor. 1968-1970 A TKessaye Ar 'o n (Jar Arinapaf In tills new era of accelerated change we are being exposed to quantities of varied, conflicting and emotionally paused issues. Much of the information is designed to confuse and to bring us at odds with that which we have learned to be acceptable. The challenge of our times is whether or not man can learn to live with his fellow men in an atmosphere of mutual respect, cooperation and understanding. In order to do this we must prepare ourselves to discern between the truth, half-truths, and falsehoods and not to be used by those representing special interest groups. My hope for you is that you will develop an alert and keen mind questioning, examining and assessing situations and problems before you commit yourself to any course or movement. A search for truth and justice should be our aim. 13 Jn Dedication Jo 7TCr. RRomas DR. tBawson “Swede has been our friend and counselor. He has laughed with us at our mistakes and shown us what it is to have a teacher with a merry heart. He has given the past meaning and purpose that will advance the good of mankind. He has taught us that honesty is the basis of character and that without law there can be no liberty - liberty for which our country was founded. With sincere respect and gratitude we dedicate this 1970 RAM'S HORN to our Coach Lawson. 14 An Appreciation Ao Jlfrs. Aina (Aiids r. JfmnA Tj ou 7or y our Concern Incf Consideration. 15 JZ?
