Senior state-qualifier Chris Murray, along with the rest of the squad, practiced each day under the coaching of Mr. Bob Guthrie. For such a young team we had a really good showing at Dis- rricts, said Chris, who, as captain, himself placed second at the meet. Volleyball was not known as a spectator sportg but because of the team's enthusiasm, they quickly earned a reputation for being an exciting team to watch. Much of the success of the team was due to the fact that all the members got along well with one another, stated Kathy Howard, who in her fourth year of playing, was the team captain.
