Class Prophecy As I sit gazing into my crystal ball I see dimly a face, Alice Faye Simmons Not the face ofthe fresh young Alice but a face haggard and tired from the now daily chore of keeping her seven children and helping her husband in the filling station Out of the world famous office building of the New York City Starr steps a fashionable young lady Yes it is Barbara Greenwood who is now society editor there She is hurrying home to her smart apartment on Fifth Avenue but alas she has no husband to share it Now we see Ernest Margworth after taking apart and reassemblnng several Ford cars has become owner of the Ford Car Agency in Bartlesville Now Joan Fiddler breezes into the picture She is now head operator for the Bell Telephone Company in Bartles ville She IS still looking for that one and only Upon walking into the halls of the Ramona Baptist Church we see Roman Ward standing at the pulpit and seated in the first three pews are his children, too numerous to mention As we rub the crystal ball a little harder we see Lucille Gray who is now chief bookkeeper for Crystal Creamery I m afraid Lucille has eaten too much ice cream for she does not have the figure she once had As for Eddie he has become quite a diplomat andis now Prime Minister ofEngland a favorite of Queen Elizabeth We now fly away to a little town in Kansas where we find Myrna as the head nurse in a hospital She rs still patiently wanting for her little sailor to return from across the sea We now see Richard and Rubyane, now happily situated on a dairy not far from Ramona where they have quite a herd Now I see Kathryn Pugh with her husband Johnny who has returned from the army, and they are now Irving very happily un Bartlesvrlle Ah' Yes, now I see Leon Owens on Television wrestling for the lightweight Championship of the world Watch for him on Saturday nights at 10 30 P M The vision is now in the form of Joe Ann Merchant Remember how she used to always be thinking at over ? Well after she thought a while she became president ofa large business college in Tulsa I can see the vision of Clyde Topping now We see he is a great inventor and he has invented an atomic mouse trap for the convenience of the modern generation We now see Carl Sumpter as a world famous politician running for mayor of Oochnecreek Oklahoma This town is located two mules south of Hogshooter Another vision now comes into my sight is that of Arlene Leeson performing the duties as secretary for a politician that has been mentioned before As for Josephine Lesco, we see her in the side show of Barnum Banly Circus She is now known as Josie, the giggling gurl We now see Earl Buttman as president of the Buttman Importing Company, importers of the finest tobacco Working mdustrrously as an I B M operator, Dorothy Ward is making money hand over fist which all goes to support that good for nothing husband, Eddie Fanning Mr Thompson is still teaching school but is now supporting a family of five darling girls ' 1 I ' 1 a I I , - l O o u 9 . . . . o p a , o o u I u l I s e . . . q . . . .
