ADMINISTRATION M I
Mr. Kenneth T. Miller and Mr. T. G. Madison, Jr., administrative leaders of Ragsdale High
Slchool, have shown how guidance for problems, successful class work, and directed activity par-
ticipation yield dividends.
As District Principal of Jamestown Schools, Mr. Miller has made important decisions con-
cerning Jamestown's educational system. On his shoulders rest the administrative -burdens of
the entire district.
4 Mr. Madison's duties include working with the faculty in planning the academic program,
conferring with students about grades, credits, courses, and looking after the general welfare of
Ragsdale High School. A A
Both Mr. Miller and Mr., Madison are assisted in their secretarial work by Mrs. Audrey
Wrike, who is always ready to assist them, and the faculty, and the students.
A typical faculty meeting.

The student bodywill be forever indebted to those who have led
them successfully through this year at Ragsdale. Their guidance in
school affairs has been a full-time job. It did not stop with class-
work but continuedin extra- curricular activities: the clubs, sports,
and socials. Need it be mentioned that the teachers spent as much
time as the students in preparing assignments? If a student were 'Rf
"stumped" by a math problem or a statement that had arisen in g
class, the teacher would gladly explain and explain and again ex- i
plain so that the question might be understood. What would have
happenedin the science labs without the help of the teachers ? When
assignments required research from a source other than the text-
book, our librarian was always ready to assist in finding the correct
information. Each teacher has done his utmost for the students in 4
their struggles in class and outside class.
To them each member of the student body says, "THANK YOU."
