G. Bm-:ui-:wi-:cs Business Manngvr l W. H. Gnuxvmox BOARD OF EDUCATION Good education is an asset to the community as well as to those who are fortunate enough to receive it. The Board of Education has been of tremendous aid to the city of Quincy while administering the means by which the youth of Quincy are able to obtain an excellent education. The major work of the Board has been their efforts toward the establishment of a new Senior High School edifice, a vast undertaking of great responsibilities, to which they have given generous and unselhsh service. The personnel of the Board of Education, with one exception, has remained the same during the past school vear. Mr. C. F. A. Behrensmeyer was succeeded by Mr. W. H. Grummon last April. Mr. Behrensmeyer gave eighteen years of faithful service to the Board. Mr john H. Steiner, chief executive of Quincy Schools, has, by his able administration contributed much toward our education. His genial personality has made him our friend as well. Six
