It concerns the events of a trial held in Carson Comers High School with the high school students acting as judge, defense attorney, prosecuting attorney, and witnesses. The parents act as the jury. The person on trial is Mr. Kovalesky, an old Polish janitor at the high school, who is accused of the premeditated murder of Bill McGinnis. Before the trial has ended, the people of Carson Corners have learned lessons which will never escape them. Mr. Kovalesky and the other people of Car- son Corners are found guilty of Bob’s death and they are all sentenced to a lifetime of remembering that they are responsible for a young boy’s death.

VENICE IN THE SPRING The evening of May 9, 1958 was the eventful evening of our Junior Prom. The whole evening was beautiful as the couples danced in a setting of Venice to the music of Chris Discenza and his orchestra. Everyone wondered who the new king and queen would be. At last the big moment arrived. The Grand March began and ended. Then the king and queen’s court came down two by two. The last couple to arrive was our new king and queen, Gary George and Judy Funicelle.
