It concerns the events of a trial held in Carson Comers High School with the high school students acting as judge, defense attorney, prosecuting attorney, and witnesses. The parents act as the jury. The person on trial is Mr. Kovalesky, an old Polish janitor at the high school, who is accused of the premeditated murder of Bill McGinnis. Before the trial has ended, the people of Carson Corners have learned lessons which will never escape them. Mr. Kovalesky and the other people of Car- son Corners are found guilty of Bob’s death and they are all sentenced to a lifetime of remembering that they are responsible for a young boy’s death.

This year definitely emerged as the most outstanding to date. It was by far the busiest of all four years in high school. The events which will stay with us the longest are our Junior Prom, VENICE IN THE SPRING; our Junior Play, THE REMARKABLE INCIDENT AT CARSON CORNERS; our class rings which we received just before Easter; and our other dance, a record hop featuring WPTR's Dave Sennet. Other activities which were important to us were the sale of magazines, cake sales, and the junior Christmas party. To lead us through these projects we re-elected Robert Rollo as our president; Samuel Discenza became our vice president; Dorothy Richard- son, corresponding secretary; Billie Hall, recording secretary; and Toby Gilman, treasurer. MR. MURPHY MRS. ROOKE Here we go as jolly JUNIORS
