Our class was very active in many projects this year. Among them were Mixed Chorus (right). Girls' Gym Club (top). Boys' Gym Club (bottom), cake sales, and our dance, Stairway to the Stars, which, unfortunately, we have no pictures of. We enjoyed this year immensely and waited expectantly for the next.

We began as pea-green Our first year in high school was an exciting one. In the ensuing four years we would have many exciting experiences, topped off by our Senior Trip and Graduation. MISS BAGG MRS. ROOKE As the first step toward these ultimate goals, we chose Robert Rollo as our president; Nina Beck- with, vice president; Daryl Daus, secretary; and David Harrington, treasurer. MISS SEAMAN The most exciting event of that year was our first evening dance, Stairway to the Stars, ” a semi-formal dance featuring Ray Nelson and his orchestra. Other important events of that year were cake sales, the school picnic, and homework projects such as DAVID COPPERFIELD, and term papers.

Here we are as gay young Our sophomore year topped the previous one in excitement and the scope of activities. This year, we began to work seriously to prepare for Washington. MRS. FRAZIER But plans are worthless without leaders, so we reelected Robert Rollo as our president; Daryl Daus, secretary; and David Harrington, treasurer. Dorothy Richardson be- came our new vice president. MR. CAFARO The two biggest activities proved to be our dance, a Sadie Haw- kins Dance which we held in November, and our sale of all-occasion cards. Both proved to be successful money-making activities. Other important activities that year were cake sales, the sale of senior dinner tickets, and our biology field trip to the Sterling-Win- throp Research Institute in Albany. MR. HEMMER
