THE GOLDEN TIME AHEAD Let's imagine ourselves in the year 19631 Why do we choose this year? This year the class of '53 is return- ing to Q. H. S. for a reunion to revive old friendships. My, here comes Dave Dausl We all remember Dave as a leader of government and athletics. Known as a famous electrical engineer, he has just completed Daus's Phonovision Plant with the help of Margie Hall, his pri- vate secretary. Margie, who was always so quiet and reserved, has become president of the P. P. T. A. (Phono Plant's Trav- eling Ambassadors). This keeps her quite busy as she is now touring the Hawaiian Islands for the company. Leon Sleight, movie photographer, takes still pictures as well as motion pictures. His photos may be seen in many magazines. Recently he has received an award, as he was able to obtain a picture of Pat Durant, stage and television star for Life Magazine. Leon found that this was a ditficult task. Patti is now engaged in rehearsals for a new musical comedy, Wings On My Feet. ” She spends her spare time teaching variety dancing at N. Y. U. and writing. We notice she has a new hair-style, especially created for her by Miss Judith Gale of Judi’s Beauty Salons. To elaborate upon her success-Judi's Salons are famous throughout the United States and parts of Europe. Having traveled most of the past ten years, she is dressed exquisitely in the latest fashions. Today she has on a new Mari-Anne afternoon dress. The now famous Mari-Anne of Hollywood is better known to us as Marianne Schuitze. Accompanying her is her companion and advisor Miss Arline Farr. Both Arline and Marianne tell us that their sales have reached the million-dollar mark, and that they will soon open a shop on Fifth Avenue in New York City. Ruth Center, remembered for her ability to hold her own during debates, is now a member of the United States Senate. Although she found it very difficult to leave her job, we are glad such an important person could be with us. Recently, she appeared as a guest on Carol Fish’s Quiz Club. Carol has been very successful with her television show. Any questions having to do with politics, the theatre, and literature are answered on her show. This well-known critic recently purchased a home in Connecticut where she plans to do research work. Joan Hall, better known as Bambi Boyce, to her readers, is the authoress of that new novel, LADY LUCK. One may find her book in the better book stores priced at five dollars per copy. At present she is working on a broadway play, which she hopes to produce. Slowly the year 1963 fades before us and we return to the present. From the different walks of life, we have met the seniors one by one. There are contentment and security in our hearts for we know that each and every- one of us shall be successful in our own right in the Golden Time Ahead! 15
