He was an ideal . . . a young college girl's dream of the under- standing, farseeing figure. He was genuine. . . unassuming, with a flair for humor. He stimulated intellectual curiosity and became a living reality. He was such a warm, close friend-our Dr. lernigan. As long as Queens students live, he will live. And in our mind's eye, he still walks, head high, gently smiling, through all our memories of Queens. Q: :- af.-ff 'naw Seniors The last time for many things -- the door closing on our Clays at Queens hut not on our memories - the strangeness of caps and gowns on Senior Recognition Day, the thrill of winning a cup on Stunt Night, our last Queens Christmas, the Boar's Head, hanquets, picnics, parties, our last exams the whirl all our own called Senior VVeel: the solemnity and excitement of graduation.
