Candi- dates for Miss Patriot were Wynell Blake- more, Linda Lamirand, Cindi Lawyer, Karla Parmly and Janet Schick. Mr. Patriot candidates were Kevin McCarty, Steve Mc- Queen, Tom O'Ban- non, Paul Sims, and Phil Wheeler. Winners were cho- sen in a school wide election. Senior home- rooms nominated five candidates for each position. Voters put their preference on a slip of paper and voted during lunch. Win- ners were announced at the senior assembly, May 8. A night of Moonlight and Mistletoe Phases were in the hearts of all Patriots as the Christ- mas Dance came. For girls, first they had to get up enough courage to ask a guy, then they worried about their dress, and fi- figure out if they should get a wrist corsage or one that pinned on.
