The 4-H club is made up of Grade School, Ir. High and Highschool students. The High- school members are D. Renbarger, W. Benson, C. Turk, I. Markwell, S. Wayt, R. Wayt, E. Easlon. H. Caruthers, S, Proctor, E. Blakely, E. Hall, P. Young, P, Casey, K. Mounts, F. Basset. 4-H on Parade The 4-I-I Club is engaged in many projects such as land and cattle judging, cooking, sewing, and design. Our 4-H Club has actively been in service at Putnam since our chapter began years ago. In this time they have made much progress in providing an extra-curricular activity for the home making and agriculturally minded students . Their able sponsor is Mr. Shives . These are the officers of the 4-H club. On their shoulders rests a great deal of responsibility. They are H. Caruthers, I. Markwell, C. Turk, W. Benson, R. Wyat, P. Hall, S. Wyat. Young, D. Industry on Parade The Science Club is a very active organization. They meet the first, second, and third weeks of every six weeks. Each member turns in a project at the end of each semester. Another requirement is to have a B average and have two years of science . They co- sponsor the publi- cation of our student directory and engage in many other activities . They are ably sponsored by Mrs . Myrtle Mullinax. The scientific minded students of Putnam City High School are faround the tablej Phillip Day, Doris Mounts, Don Duncan, Jim Bleakley, Ian Shook, and Wendell Gadd.
