iBre5i?Jent's essuge Dear Graduates: You have been eagerly awaiting the Day of Commence- ment, and your enthusiasm is boundless. But are you really prepared and ready for what is to come? More than ever, the future needs men of strong Faith, clear mind, willing hands and stout hearts. Preparedness means to be equipped in face of adversity, to check an advancing foe and to safe- guard, at all costs and sacrifices, the welfare of country and the honor of God's altar. Your training in a Catholic High School should effect that preparedness, that loyalty Pro Deo et Patria . lt is love in action. It is Faith, knowledge, piety, wisdom and fortitude. Without those traits, you will be wholly unpre- pared, with them, you will be ready for any emergency. First and foremost, be prepared to stand by your King and Leader, the Prince of Peace, and His glorious Mother who is the Tower of David and terrible as an army in battle array . With them, and by them, you will taste of victory, and you will be false to no man. V. Rev. Lawrence A. Yeske, S.M.
