girls’ monogram club The Girls ' Monogram Club is composed of eight girls who have earned our school mono- gram. These girls work hard at trying to build school spirit, to stress the importance of being a good loser as well as a good winner. Club projects include decorating the ball field for all home football games, sponsoring dances after all of the basketball games, and earning money to use for the purchase of monogram sweaters for new members. Officers for this year were Jeanne Hous- ton president; Carolyn Hale, vice-president; Nancy Stumpf, secretary and treasurer; and sponsors were Miss Geraldine Lockhart and Miss Bessie Griffith. Its purpose is to further interest in the field of dramatics. The club has presented several enjoyable plays. The sponsor is Miss Virginia Lantz. The officers are: E. K. boys monogram club The Boys ' Monogram Club is a group of very sports-minded and ener- getic boys who have worked hard to earn a letter in one of the major sports. They have been active in school affairs this year under the leader- ship of their coach, Vic Kreiter. The boys sponsored a dance this year and sold refreshments during bas- ketball games. Club members also bought orange and black sweaters and jackets. Club officers were " Bugs " Tickle, president; Ros Meredith, vice-presi- dent; Bob Hall, secretary; and " Bubbie " Duncan, treasurer. art club The Art Club is called on for many things in a school program. We have a finger in almost all activities. Bulletin boards for holidays; room decorations; floats for parades; illustrations for school papers are only a few of our activities.
