senior The Senior Girls ' Club is composed of a group of active, enthusiastic girls whose purpose is to promote a better relationship with the students both morally and socially. Projects of the club this year were: Washing boards in homerooms once a week, improving restroom facilities, selling Little Theater tickets, contributing to the Christmas formal, sponsoring candidate in Miss P.H.S. Contest, and donating to the new school in memory of the Seniors of 1954. Officers were: Patsy Jennings, president; Bonnie Gray, vice-presi- dent; Euna Rose Powers, secretary; and Audrey Dauernheim, treasurer. The Latin Club ' s main purpose is to instill in its members an interest in this foreign language. Its membership is restricted to people who are taking Latin or have taken Latin. The sponsor is Mrs. Robertson. The officers are: Ann Wallner, president; Jimmy Shepherd, vice-president; and Ann Ratcliff, treasurer. Le Cercle Francais was organized for the purpose of instilling in others a desire to learn the French language and to appreciate French culture. The membership is limited to those who are taking French now or who have completed one year. This year ' s officers were: Carolyn Perdue, president; Tommy Perdue, vice-president; Sandra Whitaker, secretary; Char- lotte Quesenberry, treasurer; and Joan Leeson, chaplain. t p. h. s. band The Pulaski High School Band of 1953-54 has participated in Bristol Band Day, Roanoke Skinners’ Game, Pulaski County Fair, P.H.S. football games, three Christmas parades, school assembly programs, the District Music Festival, All State Band, and two concerts. This is the band ' s eighth year of providing martial music for the school and the community.
