The Girls ' Athletic Association is composed of 60 members. This club, being organized only this year, is striving to promote a more healthful sports- manship and school spirit in the minds of our students. The club purchased sweaters with their insigna and pins this year. The officers were: Shirley Davidson, president; Joyce Hughes, vice-president; Joretta Jones, secretary; Peggy Rash, treasurer. The sponsor is Mrs. Goldsmith, our Physical Education Director. This club is a branch of the National G.A.A. F. H. A. The Future Homemakers of America is an active club in our school. The club activities this year were the entertaining of the Giles.
