oriole staff If, when you receive the 1952 ORIOLE you may look through its pages and find it a source of pleasure and satisfaction, and an incentive to make the most of what your high school days have meant to you; and if, in later life, you can look through it and recall pleasant memories of high school days, our efforts in presenting this publication for your approval will have been repaid. We are not unmindful of all those who have in any way contributed to our publica- tion. Without your interest and aid our work would have increased in volume. May we de- serve the help you rendered us. MR. VICTOR W. KREITER Mr. Victor W. Kreiter is an outstanding member of the community, who by his remarkable knowledge and understanding, has furthered the mental and physical development of our students. He has given his talents unhesitatingly to promote the activity of football, both to stimulate the spectators and to arouse more enthusiasm and student participation, and as a result has made Pulaski High School ' s foot- ball team the champions of the Sixth District. Many contributions are made in our school life by out- standing people, not only in school, but in the community. This year Pulaski High School and the town were united as one, this fact being shown by the mass of people who attended FOOTBALL SQUAD the football games. Our football team achieved its goal, making a brilliant showing of skill and sportsmanship, as they won the District Six Championship. We, the ORIOLE STAFF of 1952, dedicate our yearbook, THE ORIOLE, to our fine coaches, Mr. Victor W. Kreiter and Mr. Jack Miller, and to our football team. Mr. Jack Miller, a newcomer to Pulaski, has made, in a short period of time, a place for himself in the school, the hearts of the students, and in the com- munity, through his efforts and association with the football team. He has untiringly contributed both time and knowledge to help make the team what it is today. MR. JACK MILLER
