It started through the co-operative efforts of youth who wish to promote better speaking qualities in the school. The Debating Club accomplished much this year. The club aided in buying a plaque in memory of Mr. Ed Jennings, the organizer of the club. The officers this year are: Margaret Gregory, president; Jean Lineberry, vice- president; Merita Ryan, secretary; and Doris Lee Mooney, treasurer.
