Q-BEPTEMBER l3lh marked an imporlanl day as lhe Prim Priscilla girls mel lo elecl a spon-
sor and lourleen new members.
Those elecled were: Theda Carler, Frankie Dehaven, Belly Jean Hall, Evelyn l-larriman,
Mary Louise James, Belly Jane Kegley, June Kegley, Jean Owens, Peggy Rhodes, Joyce Rich-
ardson, Belly Schell, Palsy Smilh, Margarel Sprall, and Mary Lewis Slevens. These girls were
inilialed in an overnighl slay al lhe Home Economics Collage.
Those members remaining lrom lasl year were: Belly Lee Kinzer, presidenl: Peggy Wirl,
vice-presidenl: Slella Dallon, secrelaryg Jane Hillzheimer, lreasurerg and Joan Baker, Belly Ann
l-lall, Eleanor l-lall, Belly Jo Hanks, Sabra Humphrey, Hilda Meredilh, and lris Sulphin.
The club sponsored lhe lirsl lormal dance ol lhe year on December l4lh. Jimmy Sl. Clair
and his orcheslra lurnished lhe music lor lhe allair. ll was a lremendous success.
The girls were lucky lo have lwo line, capable young women as lheir sponsors. They were
Miss Dora Jean Ashe and Miss June Young.
The Spring Carnival lheme lor lhis year was Midsummer Nighl's Dream. The girls dressed
in paslel evening dresses and lhe boys in luxed oes.

l-llS is lhe lhird year lhal credil has been given lor a class in Chorus. The girls in lhis
club are under lhe leadership ol Mrs. l.ulher Farris.
The club has sung lor several meelings ol lhe P.T.A. and lhis was much enioyed by all lhe
people who allended.
On December l8 lhe Chrislmas program given by lhe Chorus Club was a beaulilul and
On December l9, al 9 o'clock, lhe members had a Chrislmas breaklasl al lhe Home Eco-
nomics Collage. Minialure snow scenes and individual place cards were used as decoralions
lor lhe allair and lhe members exchanged gills.
This is lhe lhird year lhal lhis group has presenled an operella. On March I5 lhe club pre-
senled "The Nilly Shop". This was a humorous and clever produclion. The whole Chorus Club
look parl in lhis perlormance.
The girls look parl in lhe Spring Carnival and added much lo ils beauly.
The group presenled lhe annual recilal in May and many new songs were sung.
This club sponsored several programs lor assemblies and in February lhey gave a dance
in lhe gym lollowing lhe William Fleming baskelball game.
