Big Things We Do As Pulaskians.. Mr. Francke congratulates Coach John McGeelE1 receiving the coveted UW Club trophy. Pulaski Booster Girls crowd to settle accounts in girls' gym office. From left to right- P. Piorkow- ski, K. Wesley, and D. Czerwinski. Nothing could break through the Berlin Wall of discussion with the girls when they were drooling over Richard Chamberlain or watching The Beverly Hillbillies? To burn up energy, they would go through the antics of the Bossa Nova. Black raspberry custard at Leon's relieved the parched throats they had from singing Go Away Little Girl by the hour. Intellectuals were stimulated by To Kill a Mockingbird and confused by J. F. K.'s tax cut. Boys in ski pants, sweatshirts, and crew- cuts drove down Oklahoma Ave., listening to WRIT on eight-transistor radios. For the bouffant look, girls spent many wasteful hours in front of the girls' room mirror. They gossiped for hours on Princess phones and then dashed madly to Southgate to buy the latest in fashion fads - s-t-r-e-t-c-h pants.
