Pulaski's dance band, the Swiffs is mainly
made up of boys from Pulaski. These boys
play not only for the school's record hops,
but also for many outside musical activities.
Under the direction of Dave Luell, the group
practices frequently at one of the mem-
The thirty-four members of the Boys' Glee
sing daily and are under the direction of Mr.
Bernard Stepner. Their repertoire includes
songs of devotion, folk songs, and patriotic
songs. One of their duties is to perform at
the annual Teachers' Christmas Party.
The Pulaski stage crew, under the super-
vision of Mr. Rieck, is in charge of equip-
ment used for any of the various programs.
The P. A. Crew is in charge of all equip-
ment used in keeping the students informed.
Mr. Schmitz is the faculty advisor.

If you have seen a nattily dressed person
walking down the hall with a copy of Gulliver's
Travels, cutting a class to have two lunch
hours, wearing a chipped class ring, displaying
an expression of an inflated egotist, and whim-
pering slightly over high school memories,
then you have had the opportunity of gazing
on a member of that select group of Pulaski
Of course, this position was not easily
attained, as evidenced by the battle wounds
recorded on report cards. But after removing
the obstacles of exams, term papers, projects,
activities, and homework, the final battle ci-
tation, the diploma, was given to all Worthy
Valedictorian Carol Niwa gives her speech before
the graduating student body. Mr. Tiernan and the
guest speaker look on,
