With the completion of seventh hour, the
active members of Girls Athletic Association
pounce down to the girls' locker room to don
their sportswear and hobble on to the gym
floor. The game of the afternoon gets under
Way with a go-ahead signal, "Okay girls, let's
play ball," from Mrs. Dougherty.
Amidst flying volleyballs and laughing
girls, referees keep order. Physical fitness and
good sportsmanship are promoted in the same
manner as they were in earlier days when the
organization was instituted.

A new location means new ideas. Ever
since the annual office had been moved from
27 to Room 328, bigger and better ideas have
been springing up everywhere.
Janice J astrzembowski, Editor -in - Chief,
fosters these ideas by keeping everyone on
their toes. She hands out assignments and

her efficient staff sees that they get them done
promptly. Under the counseling of Mr. Robert
Stieber, the staff works in unison taking
pictures, writing articles, and doing a great
amount of detail work. All the organization
is started at the beginning of summer and
is finished sometime in the early spring.
