Janice Kneuppel, Merri Schroeter, and Nancy Mijokovic modestly show tense emotions. Gala Event October rolled around and brought with it the best Homecoming pep rally, game, and dance in Pulaski's history. The week end got underway Friday morn- ing with Mr. Max leading us in a pep rally. Mummed senior girls, cheerleaders, skits, booster girls, floats, and lunch room antics were some of the reasons for the high level of school spirit which prevailed throughout. That evening the Rams made it five straight with a Homecoming victory over Bay View before a sell out crowd. "Ebba" Wie- chowski's last minute, tie-breaking touchdown proved to be the deciding factor in one of the most exciting games of the whole year. The next evening, in a gym transformed by the Homecoming committee with crepe paper, and floats boasting Pulaski red and blue, King Jim Hutchison and his Queen Ruth Malmorowski reigned over the dance which capped off the two days of festivities. Miss Chwalek's homeroom gathers joyfully around their prize-winning float. Coach McGee voices his opinion to three Ramblers at a stirring portion of the game.
