In Activities - We Do Big Things Pulaski's activities season begins with a splish and a splash from the members of the senior band on the practice field. The cheer- leaders take over from there and lead the school in a rousing cheer for the Jr. Red Cross and the F.T.A., followed by a Christmas concert that includes the Girls' Glee, the A Cappella Choir, and the Orchestra. This is followed by such activities as the junior prom, the senior dance, the spring concert, and the Orchesis show. Some of these functions are planned by the Student Council, the Junior Prom Planning Committee, or the Senior Planning Committee. All are made known through the P.A. announcers, and supported by the Booster Girls. Kathy Sternik, an unidentified West Milwaukee letterman, Kathy Van de Zande, and Merri Schroeter twist at a hop. Posing for a tableaux for the annual Christmas Pageant are, from left to right, Charles Turbin, Dennis Wysk, Joy Budzien and Robert Nennig. Kneeling are John Plichta and Priscilla Kmiecik.

Council Portrays Democracy Buried under tons of left-over homecoming programs, Thanksgiving Day baskets, bills from dance supplies, and old warped records, you will probably find five tired Student Service Council officers and one exhausted counselor, Mr. Tiernan. The wrecking crew consists of one permanent and one alternate representative elected from each of the eighty- three homerooms. All these people working to- gether, comprise our Student Service Council. This helpful organization is the main back- bone of Pulaski's various activities through- out the school year. In addition to debating problems which arise during the school year, the council organizes the Thanksgiving basket drive, dances, noon movies, lost and found, pep rallies, and Vocational Day.
