Harriers Tread With Spirit
Sweat and stamina are the ingredients
needed to develop a winning cross-country
team. In order to mold the '62 Pulaski squad,
Coach Perez paced the boys on an average of
3 miles every other day.
Led by Captains Stan Gaffin and Dan
Smith, our only returning lettermen, the Har-
riers compiled a record of two wins and two
defeats. During the course of the season,
Stan Gaffin set a new record of 11:08 on
Pulaski's 2.2 mile course.

Bertling, Robert Seeger, Tom Adams, Kurt Christi,
Joe Blandino, Jim Hansen. Row 1: Randy Ander-
Pulaski's 1962-63 wrestling team won its
fourth straight city championship under the
coaching of Anthony Pauly. Pulaski sent
seven mat-men into the semi-finals, out of
which Jim Huber, at 138 pounds, and Rick
Graef, at 103 pounds, became city champions.
Pulaski had a perfect record in the city con-
ference by winning 12 consecutive matches.
Jim Huber went on to Win the state champ-
ionship in his weight division.
