ARCHERY CLUB Mr, Wielgosz During the past year the Archery Club, under the sponsorship of Mr. Wielgtvsz has met on Thursday in the bicycle court. Because of the danger involved with this sport, the membership is limited to twenty although the in- terest in archery runs much higher. The purpose of this club is to teach beginners the fundamentals of shooting and scoring. ln the bicycle court they have a span of twenty feet. For their practicing, they use bows with as much as a forty' pound pull and arrows with either metal or wooden shafts. Coach Wielgtwsz cordially invites all who are interested in the Arch- ery Club to come out next semester. DARKROOM Mr. Ralph Groves The boys in the darkroom are di- rected under the leadership of Mr. Ralph Graves. They are kept busy developing all the pictures for the annual and newspaper staffs. Their spare time is spent working to in- crease the high quality of their photographs. The boys in the dark- room deserve much credit for the outstanding results in photography which they give to our school. 156 BOOKSTCDRE Mr. Jcmkowski The bookstore, operated by Mr. jankowski, provides opportunities for experiences in clerking, count- ing cash, and manipulating a cash register. The bookstore monitors must be extremely honest, pleasant, willing to meet people, have pleas- ing personalities and good grades. Bargain sales which supply needed items take place with the idea of giving students more for their money than can be gotten in other stores.
