The chief purpose of the Blue Mask Club, sponsored by Mr. Franks, is to study and appreciate drama. The club offers
students in school a chance to participate and gain experience in acting. Each person may participate in the section that
interests him most. Students learn about proper stage entrance, walking and sitting on stage, and the correct volume with
which to speak. Some students used their ability by writing and producing an original Thanksgiving play. The task of
makeup was handled by Miss Cutnaw. Much credit should be given to Miss Hogan and Miss Awe, who contributed greatly
and conscientiously worked with Mr. Franks.

Pulaski's Spanish Club is un-
der the able leadership of Miss
Annette Flynn. The activities of
the club range from art and
music to dancing, all with the use
of the Spanish language. Near the
Christmas holidays, the students
sing carols and enjoy the colorful
"Pinata." ln spring, the parents
of the members of the club are
invited to learn of the customs of
Spain and Mexico and hear the
students sing Spanish songs. Al-
though participating in the club
is fun in itself, of even greater
importance is the knowledge
which one gains for future use.
The Square Dance club gives
students a c h a n ce to improve
their dancing techniques and also
to make new friends. Because
square dancing is becoming very
popular, this club provides more
time to practice and to learn new
dances. The snappy "Texas Star"
is one of the square dances per-
formed in the club.
