Cofeterici During the fourth and fifth hours, the Cafeteria gives a student the opportunity to purchase a hot lunch at a reasonable price under the government subsidized program. The students may bring their lunch from home and buy milk very reasonably also. After a length of time, if the student wishes, he may attend a movie in the auditorium, go out- side, or he may stay in the cafeteria and do any homework which he may have or he may just visit with friends. l Mrs. Brandt YVW U' .,,..,.,,J3i..- ""'T....-,Eg ew KW V148

RADIO COMMUNICATION Mr. Winkler The Ra d i o Communications Club is made up of boys who have their "Ham Ticket." They report every Monday the eighth hour to Room 410, where our transmitters and receivers are lo- cated. The boys spend their time in making radio contacts after which they make an exchange of QSL cards. Our station here at Pulaski High is W9UCl issued to the radio instructor, Mr. Winkler. e-TN HOME NURSING Mrs. Hancock The Home Nursing course re- quired for all senior girls is taught in the health classes by Mrs. Viola Hancock with assist' ance from Red Cross registered nurses. The main object of the course is to have students learn how to care for the sick by actual demonstrations and performances. The girls learn how to recognize signs of illness, how to prepare healthful diets, and how to give effective and safe care in follow- ing doctors' orders, while caring for the sick. 150 COMMERCIAL SERVICE Miss Lindsay The Commercial Service Club under the direction and guidance of Miss Delia Lindsay provides its members with an excellent background in the technical skills so important to anyone who plans -on entering the business world today. This group, which meets during the eighth hour every Monday, is open to all ambitious juniors and seniors who are anxious to become competent busi- ness men and women after gradu- ation. The members of the club cut stencils, operate mimeograph machines, and improve their skill in typing.
