P.A. Welcomes New Lower School Headmaster 1979 brought a new headmaster to Pulaski Academy's lower school with the arrival of Mr. Mike Parrish. Mr. Parrish came to us from the Miami Valley school in Dayton, Ohio, and says emphatically that the change was for the better. He is very excited to be at P.A., and views the position as a fantastic opportunity for him to try new programs and ideas with the students at P.A. One of the things he likes most in the Academy is the fact that there are much more social and extracurricular activities offered to a P.A. students, rather than just straight academics . CREATIVITY is Mr. Parrish's favorite quality, and he encourages it in the teachers as well as himself. He's happy at P.A, because it's given him the change to be creative. The Super Bruins program which he insti- tuted this fall is just one example. There are other evidences of his influence atound the school, though . . .the Kindergarten Building now has new lofts and workbenches that he built himself. We think we're bear-ry lucky to have this new Bruin -thanks Mr. Parrish! X A x. ,. 'S I I J!
