fm BEN FRANKLIN PRINTING CLUB In the picture at the top Ray Flores of Pueblo holds the charter for the new chapter ofthe Benjamin Franklin Printing Club e s- tablished at our school. Standing with Ray is Vernon Scott, past president of the Tucson High c ha pte r, who made the presentation. At the extreme left of the picture, behind the coffee-cup is Robert Johnson, faculty sponsor of the group. The other officers for the Pueblo club are: Eddie Miranda, vice pre sidentg Clara Valles, secretaryg Betty Helton, treasurerg Ray Flo r e s is the first president of the chapte r. The Pueblo group attained its official status at the 3rd Annual Dinner of the Ben Franklin Printing Clubs of the Tucson Public Schools, held Wed- nesday, January 16, 1957, at Buffum's Restaurant. A Catalina chapte r was launched upon the same occasion. PU EBLO RADIO CLUBS Interest in radio was so high at Pueblo that Mr. Ray Daviswho volunteered to ' sponsor the group had to divide it into two s e c tion s for facility of o pe r a tio n.
