L.. swiss 5 4 Q 1 After twelve years, the bond of a class is a strong one. Trying, striving, hurting, learning, making mistakes and learning more, smiling over squeezed-back tears, relaxing with friends, playing hard and winning hard, and most of all, growing up, together, makes a common tie within the diversities and the changes of such a large group of individuals. Perhaps all classes feel the same way about their own class, a special feeling of belonging and caring that especially peaks at senior year. Even the infamous Class of 1984 cannot be exempt from the camaraderie, the joie de vivre and the spirit that has been built by one to up to twelve years of togetherness. Even the generation of the dreaded 1984 can laugh and cry at the same time, trying to catch and store the memory of one slice of life, the remembrance ofa time that will never be again. The 1984 Prince is thus dedicated to the Class of 1984, in defiance to the vicious rumours that have always circulated about this year, and in a proud tribute to its spirit. To the Class of 1984: Here's to the past and to the future. Cheers.
