Weiss, Coach. 31221 3201, 'mlbflfll Our spring track team, which began training March l under the coaching of Mr. Irwin Weiss and Mr. Winfield Niles, opened its season officially the latter part of April. The tracksters journeyed to Franklin Field April 29, Where they participated in the Penn Relays. Some ot the teams they met in dual competition during the season were Trenton High, Long Branch, Trenton Catholic, Somerville, and North Plainfield. Running in the mile for Princeton were Dick Hogarty and Iohn Muller, the halt mile, Ioe Stonaker and Charlie Cottrell, quarter mile, George Sickel and Bill Harper, hurdles, Dick Zimmerman and Bob Rivers, sprints, Iimmie Scudder, Theron Calkin and Bubby Fletcher. Howard Beagles competed in the high jump and broad jump, Bill Baugh and Dick Mount handled the shot put and discus. TOP LEFT: Co-captain George Sickle running the quarter-mile.
