clc'cenT on guiclcmc . . . In schools having as many students as Princess Anne, group assemblies are often impossible or difficult to have. In this pep rally, Mr. Sachon talks to the entire sgudent body about school spirit and good sportsman- s ip. It is the function of the teachers and counselors of Princess Anne High School to inform, guide, and aid each student in the attainment of his future goals. This job is an important one, because it is chiefly through the counselor that the student gains information about the many professional fields which are open to him. The counselor also plays an active part in pointing out Whether or not the stu- dent is suited for the particular job or field that interests him . In the classroom, the teacher is both friend and taskmaster. Although the student may not find homework and tough assignments a pleasure, never- theless, they are necessary in preparing him for the demands he will encounter in college or in a job. If anyone has trouble doing his Work or finds that he needs advice on some subject, the teacher is always Willing to lend a helping hand. If a student does not avail himself of the valuable experience and training which each teacher has to offer, he may lose precious time in entering the field for which he is best qualified. A close look at any activity or function that takes place at Princess Anne will illustrate the many ways in which the faculty and administration aid and advise the students. Typing and shorthand are standard requirements of those students who hope to enter the business world. These girls are htranscrlblng letters under the supervision of their teac er. m

Working - singing - creating - but most of all being together as a team is the goal of Princess Anne stu- dents, and in order to accomplish this, they strive for a feeling of oneness. Each person puts forth his own effort and time toward making Princess Anne a school loved and cherished by all. The accent here is on the student body of PA and on the spirit and comradeship which emanates from them. It is their determination and devotion to the ful- fillment of their goals in life that make them the guiding spirit of Princess Anne High School and the leaders of tomorrow. f ,gi v .U U Q ' L N , f 'Q' gf' . l ' 1, 2 'lo f 4 ,VI -75 V V 3 , t Q ., t if ' f N v A' ' at X X JN 1 rr i- or f i I L Al yy kv v ff I-1 LV 51,7 .i - ' .
