It is highly gratifying to know that we have had a part in assembling the initial volume of the history of our school. We are proud of and admire the cooperative spirit and enthusiasm shown by the students of Prince George County and those that have come from many states and countries. We hope that these characteristics will continue in years to come. As we look to the days when the firm foundation of this building was laid and to its continuous growth with brick, mortar, and steel into the strong, beautiful edifice now standing, we can compare it with the progress, loyalty, and integrity of the students and faculty who first entered into this hall of learning. We are sure that in years to come the people who succeed us will add their contributions to the growth and development of a strong and honest reputation, comparable to the strength of this modern building. SCHOOL BOARD Library of Virginia Ai BRE RO RICHRA Siitzan Belsches, Frank Livesay, John Clements, Chairman of the Board; Julia Bartha, Clerk; Harold Allin, Jerry Skalsky. DEDICATION We, the 1954 Annual Staff do proudly dedicate the first volume of the Prince George Peerage to our principal, Mr. Harold L. Secord. His inspirational guidance and smiling personality command our respect and admiration. We are deeply grateful to him for his unswerving loyalty and continued interest in aiding us in our school activities. His dignity, patience, understanding and generosity with his time and efforts, will ever inspire us toward a higher goal.
